At Clozr, your privacy matters. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and password when you create an account. When you use the chat feature, we collect your messages and search preferences to provide personalized property recommendations. We also automatically collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and interactions with our AI advisor. If you connect a third-party account (e.g., Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) operate and improve the Service; (b) personalize your property search experience; (c) communicate with you about your account, listings, and offers; (d) connect you with licensed real estate professionals when requested; (e) analyze usage patterns to enhance the platform; and (f) comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. AI Conversations
Your conversations with our AI advisor are stored to provide continuity across sessions and to improve our models. Conversation data may be reviewed by our team to evaluate AI quality. We do not share individual conversation content with third parties except as required by law. You may request deletion of your conversation history by contacting us at hello@clozr.us.
4. Sharing of Information
We may share your information with: (a) licensed real estate agents who you explicitly request to contact you; (b) service providers who assist us in operating the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) under data processing agreements; (c) authorities when required by law or to protect our rights; or (d) a successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition. We require all partners to treat your data with the same level of protection we do.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze usage. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage metrics and Microsoft Clarity for session recordings (no personally identifiable information is captured in recordings). You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized, aggregated data derived from your usage may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict processing; and data portability. 8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage of credentials, and row-level security in our database. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us personal information, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
